To help you get a better understanding of what we do, we have gathered some of the more commonly asked questions, so that you can make informed decisions from the comfort of your own home. Yes, there is the option for a 15-minute free phone consultation. Please call or email us to set up your no charge consultation.
The counselling services clinic hours vary every day so that we are able to offer a variety of day, evening, and Saturday time slots for you. We are closed on Sundays.
Yes, we are able to offer both phone and video services for kids counselling. Our video sessions are through a secure platform. This has been beneficial for clients that have mobility issues, live further away from the clinic, and encounter difficult weather conditions.
A 60-minute therapy session starts at $130. Please note that the last 10 minutes are used to review and book upcoming appointments. There is flexibility with session times and rates will be reflected accordingly.
Payment can be made by PayPal, e-transfer, and cash. Payment is expected at the time of services. Receipts will be issued to you when payment has been received.
If you need to cancel your appointment, 24-hour notice is expected. There may be charges applied for your missed appointment if notice is not received.
Depending on your financial situation and if there is availability at the clinic, a sliding payment scale rate may be considered for a set amount of sessions.
Most private health insurance providers do cover Registered Social Workers – MSW. We do not offer direct billing. It is up to you to confirm the details with your specific insurance provider prior to your first session.
